Saltwater & Stillness tulum, MX Retreat
November 5-10, 2026
Your Pre-Holiday Reset
The holidays bring their usual energy:
the pressure to be everywhere, do everything, and still somehow remain grounded.
Maybe you’re telling yourself, I’ll rest after the holidays.
But you already know how that goes… you start the new year running on fumes.
What if you didn’t wait?
What if you gave yourself a moment — before the rush — to reset your nervous system, exhale the year, and return to you?
This Tulum retreat is your intentional pause:
a space to reflect, restore, and close out 2026 with clarity instead of chaos.
Why
Saltwater & Stillness?
It’s an invitation to soften, reset, and return to yourself on the shores of the Caribbean.
Saltwater:
Mornings begin with movement — a daily slow flow class designed to warm your body, open your heart, and ease you into the day.
From there, float in turquoise water, and soak in the grounding energy of Tulum’s coastline.
Stillness:
Think restorative yoga, sound meditation, intimate ceremonies and reiki-infused sessions that regulate your nervous system and bring you back to center.
Wake
up to..
the sound of the waves. Move through a morning flow. Gather with your fellow retreat goers for a nourishing fresh breakfast.
Spend your afternoons barefoot, reading by the water, napping on the beach, or swimming in the Caribbean sea. Lunch will be ready for you after your morning of chill.
Evenings unwind with restorative yoga, sound healing, and the soft glow of candlelight. Dinner is slow, nourishing, and prepared with intention.

Two Ancient Rituals. A Powerful reset.
Temazcal + Cacao
During the retreat, you’ll experience two individual ceremonies — each offering a different kind of release, connection, and renewal.
Temazcal Ceremony — A Deep Cleanse & Reset
One of Mexico’s most powerful ancestral rituals, the Temazcal is a guided steam and sweat lodge experience using hot volcanic rocks, healing waters, and aromatic herbs like rosemary, lavender, and thyme.
Sacred chanting and intention-setting support a full-body and emotional release, helping you let go of what you’ve been carrying and emerge feeling lighter and renewed.
Cacao Ceremony — A Heart-Opening Journey
In a separate gathering, you’ll take part in a traditional cacao ceremony. The Mayans called cacao “the most sacred,” and for good reason — it gently opens the heart, balances emotions, and brings your body, mind, and spirit into harmony.
We’ll pass cacao around the circle, set intentions, drop into a guided meditation, and close with a soothing sound bath for integration.
hiii!
We’re Isa & Kate — both 500-hour yoga teachers who are passionate about creating experiences that feel grounding, expansive, and deeply nourishing.
Isa will guide slow flow, meditation, and sound — helping your body soften and your mind unwind.
Kate will offer restorative practices, reiki, and grounding circles to help you reconnect with your inner world.
Together, we’ll lead you through yoga, ceremony, reflection, and rituals designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and remember your deepest self.

These are optional add-ons. You’ll be able to book a massage/spa treatment for an additional fee. Payment can be made at the front desk using cash or card. Don't forget to bring a cash tip!
Do I need to bring extra cash for tips?
All tips for drivers, the retreat center staff, and group excursions are already included in your retreat price — so you won’t need to worry about carrying extra cash day-to-day.
That said, if you’d like to show additional gratitude to the amazing team who takes care of us throughout the week, a suggested extra tip is around $100 per guest for the entire stay.
PLEASE READ:
When arriving at the airport, you may be approached by individuals offering to help carry your luggage. While this can feel like a kind gesture, it’s important to know that they will typically expect a tip in return.
If you prefer not to tip, we recommend politely declining and either handling your own bags or allowing your designated driver to assist you.
To keep things smooth and stress-free, make sure that only you or your assigned driver places your luggage on the shuttle or bus—not a random helper.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely. Many of our guests travel solo and leave with lifelong friends. We’ll pair you with a roommate if you choose a shared option, or you can book a private room for yourself.
Is this a sober retreat?
Technically the retreat center does offer alcohol if you would like to purchase on your own. However, we ask that you refrain from drinking/smoking until all programming is finished for the day. It is highly encouraged to be sober for the week as we connect to ourselves and our group!
kind words from Soulmate guests
“Isa & Kate have been my guides and teachers while I navigate the world of yoga. When I saw they were hosting a retreat, I jumped at the opportunity! I knew that no matter what, an amazing and unforgettable experience was going to take place. I wasn't wrong! I learned so much about myself on this trip, including that I can survive a cold plunge (Twice!) and do anything else I set my mind to. Pair two incredible instructors with a group of wonderful people and you get MAGIC. I could sit here and talk about this retreat all day. My advice - if you see these two announcing new retreats and you're thinking about going, don't think. Just do it! I promise it will be one of the best things you do for yourself.”
—Bridget C.
“Isa and Kate are a breath of fresh air amidst the chaos of the world. Their partnership creates the perfect retreat experience; it’s impossible to leave without feeling both grounded and energized. Just what the soul needs. An experience I wish I could have over and over again.”
-Megan A.
"Attending a retreat with Isa and Kate will be everything you have ever dreamed of and needed. They are wonderful, brilliant, and kind individuals who have their whole hearts invested in ensuring the experience is top tier for the attendees."
Bri M.
“Kate and Isa’s Mindfulness Magic Retreat in Stowe Vermont was nothing short of pure bliss!! From the mountains to slow flows, the energy in every space was peaceful and welcomed every individual to be their beautiful authentic selves. We laughed, indulged in hydrotherapy and ate the most nutritious meals at Sterling Forest Lodge~where we could get lost in a book (that felt handpicked for us) or on an adventure to the lively cricks. Kate and her magic reiki hands plus Isa with her angelic bowls, these two curated the perfect weekend with so much love in every detail. I’m so grateful for this experience and it is something I will always hold near and dear to my heart :) I can’t wait to see what’s next!!”
